Direct Deposit means your paycheck deposits are made automatically – securely and hassle-free. Set it up once, and then relax knowing your paycheck is in the bank without any stress on your schedule.
You can have any recurring payment deposited electronically to your CAHPCU Checking or Savings account. That includes your payroll check and items like Social Security or other government payments. Just contact whoever issues the checks (your employer, a government agency, etc.) and if they offer this service, they can get you started, or call us to learn more about how to save time with Direct Deposit.
Payroll Deduction: Out of Sight, Out of Mind
A payroll deduction means a designated portion of your paycheck is automatically sent directly to the Credit Union. This works great for a savings plan or any recurring loan payments -- or both. It's an easy way to complete specified financial transactions on a regular basis without having to make time in your busy schedule.
CAHPCU is able to establish Payroll Deductions on your behalf if you receive funds from the State or PERS. If you work for any other agencies or businesses, you will need to originate requests through your local Personnel or Human Resources department.
