Harminder Grewal, a two and a half year veteran with the Galt Police Department, passed away on August 26th, 2021 from injuries sustained in an on-duty traffic collision. Officer Grewal was responding to assist at the Caldor fire when another vehicle breached the center divide and struck his patrol vehicle head-on. Officer Grewal leaves behind his parents, brother, sister-in-law, countless family members, and an incredible network of friends.
This fund will allow the Grewal family to memorialize and honor Officer Grewal the way he deserves. Officer Grewal was an invaluable member of the Galt community, and his passing leaves a void which cannot be filled.
